Abstract
Music and song lyrics develop both accuracy and fluency in pronunciation by providing opportunities for students to practice difficult sounds, stress, connected speech, intonation patterns, sound-spelling relationships and more. This high-energy workshop focuses on the unique role rhythm and rhyme play in language learning by exploring issues surrounding memory and motivation. Participants will learn how to select songs, write chants, and create out-of-class practice activities to help students achieve their communicative goals.
Please note the webinar is free for all to attend, but the certificates of attendance will be sent to IATEFL members only.
