We will be joined by the lead author, Alice Henderson, who will have some questions for us to consider and discuss, followed by a Q&A.

About the speaker:

Alice Henderson is a Full Professor at Université Grenoble – Alpes, France, where she teaches English for Specific Purposes to STEM students. She has been involved in training teachers in France, Germany, Norway, Poland, and Spain. In 2009 she initiated the bi-annual international conference English Pronunciation: Issues & Practices (EPIP). She has published internationally on English pronunciation learning and teaching, the perception of foreign-accented speech, and English Medium Instruction (EMI), and is now exploring listener roles from an intercultural and sociolinguistic perspective.​
