Abstract
This webinar presents an action research study conducted with Master’s students majoring in Geography at the University of the Antilles. The project explored how to foster prosodic competence in EFL learners, an area widely recognised as particularly challenging to teach. Focusing on Standard Trinidadian and Tobagonian English, the session introduces an innovative escape game designed to develop learners’ awareness of rhythm, stress, and intonation through interactive and engaging tasks. Participants will also experience part of the escape game following the presentation.
