Abstract
In this webinar, we will share findings from a recent study on teaching English intonation to EFL learners (Sonsaat-Hegelheimer & Levis, 2025), focusing on three final contours: falling, rising, and falling–rising.
We’ll discuss how explicit instruction impacted learners’ perception and production, and explore what these results mean for classroom practice.
Participants will gain practical insights and strategies for teaching intonation effectively.
